Warranty Information

a. Vinyl Frames and Sashes:
Axis warrants that its vinyl window and door frames and sashes will be free from material defects in manufacturing that cause cracking, peeling, warping, or excessive fading under normal residential use for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.

b. Insulated Glass Units (IGUs):
IGUs are warranted against seal failure resulting in visible obstruction between the panes caused by moisture or film for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase.

c. Hardware and Components:
All standard hardware components (e.g., locks, operators, balances, hinges) are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 10 years from the date of purchase.

If installation was performed by Axis or an authorized Axis contractor, the installation is warranted to be free from significant defects in workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of installation.

This warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or acts of God (e.g., fire, flood, earthquake).

• Improper installation by non-authorized contractors.

• Normal wear and tear, minor fading or discoloration, or condensation on glass surfaces (unless due to IGU seal failure).

• Modification, alteration, or repairs not authorized by Upwall.

• Damage caused by chemicals, pollutants, or salt spray near coastal environments (unless specific coastal-rated products are installed).

To initiate a warranty claim, the warranty holder must:

• Notify Axis Windows and Doors in writing within 30 days of discovering a potential defect.

• Provide proof of purchase and details of the defect.

• Allow Axis reasonable access to inspect and assess the claim.

All valid claims will, at Axis’s option, result in repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product or component. Labor costs for removal and reinstallation after 2 years are not covered.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and installation address, unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided by Axis. To the extent permitted by law, Axis disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Axis be liable for incidental, consequential, or special damages.

This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State/Province of Utah.
